The Job & Internship Expo is University of Miami's signature recruiting event offering students from all majors and class levels 100s of internships and full-time opportunities from top employers. Redesigning marketing media for the event included a portrait and landscape flyer, email banner, lawn signs, a-frame signs and a floor map.
My idea was to have this big wide dorm room as the main flyer for the event, and to take pieces of the room for the different media like the lawn signs and the email banner. This would give me a lot of room to work with for the designs. This is the initial sketch I made to discuss with project stakeholders:
Keeping in my mind the requirements for the different designs, after much deliberation and back-and-forth, this was the final flyer:
From this flyer, I was able to take parts of the room and make our email banner and lawn signs:
We also needed A-frame signs for the event:
